There's no reason for this post except to say that I have not seen or heard any of Live 8 - its all a load of tosh and I can't stand Pink Floyd

Geldof's heart is in the right place, I have no problem with what all the bands think they're doing but its not for me

total fcuking sh!te all day.even velvet revolver seemed tame -and the singer looked like jones the steam,from ivor the engine,until he removed his shades;then he looked like a camp captain scarlet.

until...the last band in paris saved the day.The Cure stole the show (with just one song,IMO)playing a blistering version of "one hundred years".

(even if fat bob looks more like jo brand by the hour!)

plus+++this meant i missed all of 'floyds set bar the last half of "....numb"-bonus!
