From work I've got a breath-taking (but in a slightly different way) view of the Bromborough Dock Landfill Site.

Glamourous job huh
How beautiful! Nearly as nice as looking at the Elsmere port chemical works on a winters night.
I thought Ellesmere Port looked quite pretty at night*, it's the smell I can't cope with :urff:

*Especially when there's a blackout in the town centre

No - I meant it. It looks great. That green glow is trippy.

Sorry. Did I just see the words "looks" and "great" in a sentence describing the aesthetics of Ellesmere Port?

I need to go lie down... :|

I don't have a window to the outside world in my office but I do have a glass partion that looks out onto the main floor of the office. Lot's of boys and girls running aroung like headless chickens as a result of the BA/Heathrow strike problems. And <leans over to read the phone displays> 38 calls being dealt with and 47 calls in the queue. Average call waiting time 45mins! Whoops!

* currently wearing a headset whilst surfing HL occassionally opening and closing my mouth, pulling different faces and making expressive hand gestures to give the impression that I'm busy and tied up on the phone ... :innocent: *

At work all I see is our metal fabrication shop - not the prettiest site in the world, however the view from home is a bit better.....

Bah. I've yet to look at the Cathedral in daytime and like it.

However, getting close up to it at nighttime, especially around the parts that aren't as lit up, like around the Chapter House, whilst the sky's a deep blue and the sun has all but set, and THEN it's beautiful.

There's also a gorgeous cathedral in Peterborough. We even have Mary Queen of Scots and Anne Boleyn buried here. I did mention it once to a mainlander who responded "You have a big church with two old ladies buried there. So what ..?"

Philistine.
