The number 23 appears in many mysterious coincidences but only to those who notice it.
Twenty-three is the ninth prime number, and the fifth factorial prime, the fifth Sophie Germain prime, the fourth safe prime, the second Woodall prime, and the second Smarandache-Wellin prime. It is an Eisenstein prime with no imaginary part and real part of the form 3n − 1.
23 also has the distinction of being one of two integers that cannot be expressed as the sum of fewer than 9 cubes of integers (the other is 239).
23 is also the sacred number (along with 5) of Eris, goddess of discord, according to the
Principia Discordia; it is the number of the Illuminati.
The 23 Enigma is a belief that the number 23 is of particular or unusual significance, especially in relation to disasters.
Unusual circumstances being linked to 23 are mentioned by William S. Burroughs. He tells the story of meeting a ferry captain named Clark who claimed to have sailed the same route without an accident for 23 years. That very day, however, the ferry sank. Later that day, Burroughs writes, he was thinking about Clark's ferry accident when he heard that a Flight 23 on a New York-Miami route had crashed. According to Burroughs, the pilot's name for the flight had also been Clark. Burroughs began collecting incidences of the number 23 in a scrapbook and referred to them in his writings.
And is also the number of pints of extra cold Guiness

Thats why I decided to come down in the car instead of getting the train - I can bring a large portion of my wardrobe with me and worry about it later
.............I reckon it'll be mainly black though

@Blast... 2+3 a-side is a stroke of genius
. Why was
that the straw that broke the camel's back, and not Mr./Mrs. Porridge's insistance on releasing
album after bloody album singing over the sound of a washing machine?

Add these 3 to the list: Scardwel, Keys, Ed Rhombus
although we're not doing the Saturday as we have a gig in Brum that night.

I am on your side you know Paul, as far as Godstar goes anyway...
20 Jazz Funk Greats is
another matter entirely! But I think this has been covered before.
And Gira's washing machine was far more KLUNKY and delightful, as Libby will also testify! Also, he could really f**king
sing...oh f**k, what a voice *shudder*
there I go...
And
nice photo! Let 'imself go a bit, tho' didnee?

Aren't the
Snoweys coming
- certainly on the sunday.
And
Purple Light is a definite - all weekend I think.
I must admit I'd expect many more than the list says so far.
Tickets for Sunday arrived yesterday.
As for what to wear, as bright as possible. Of course.
Oh yeah, and I'll be +2 mad b@stards on Sunday.
