Not sure, am I responsible for bringing this phrase into the HL dictionary?
With my frequent usage of it over the weekend to all and sundry. If so, my sincerest apologies (but by all means carry on!)
It's those bloody spiders with the big articulated legs and small bodies that get me the most
. Big fat ones I can handle... little tiny ones that spin webs in my hair overnight are even better...

Nope, it's definitely the person that doesn't make sense.
The pic makes perfect sense - The Smurphs were awesome, and I was quite 'lost in the moment'.
Twas ever thus.
@ Jess - you're a bad girl.

It was a one off 'Planet Dave' tee shirt was it not?
And Scotty. You couldn't possibly slap Boudicca's legs, you'd have to find em first.

They're bloody nice legs,
if I do say so myself...
I want a special T-shirt now as well, with "Sister Midnight" on the front, and "told you I'd show up" on the back...

It may be an urban myth, but I've been told that the average person eats four spiders a year in their sleep. Gotcha, hairy one!

Covered that in the previous spiders thread
However, what
is true, every bar of chocolate contains a certain amount (4 IIRC) of insect legs

can you folks please stop to bring up the spider talk every other day.
I feel already now more than well informed.
Better more pics of raving Ravey. The one posted above is a little bit muddy.

Ah, you know, the chance of getting killed by a champagne cork is way bigger than the chance of getting killed by a spider
And I didn't start it

I'd rather have a drink before getting killed by the champagne tough

Didn't you just love the bit in Return of the King when Shelob appears at the top of a ridge and creeps up behind Frodo? Now THAT was a spider...

Oh aye
The thing I like best about Shelob is her name; it sounds really monstery but it's just "She-lob" and
lob is an old dialect word for
spider.
Good old Prof T and his linguistic games.

Christ, yes. And the first big spider in film history that didn't look utterly silly.
Anyone remember "IT" or "Tarantula"?

IT is the movie bases on a Stephen King book hey? Saw it ages ago but liked it a lot back then.

Tarantula featuring Mr Eastwood in one of his less memorable roles.
All those old monster movies kick red ass.
Shelob was cool, but I wanted her to be bigger. Just about the ONLY part of the films that didn't look like it had been sucked directly from my 13 yr-old brains imagination. Genius.
And the Balrog of course. Mine was miles sh1tter than that.
