Just trying to think what needs to be on the "tour"...
- Village Place we have already mentioned.
- The Warehouse, scene of a couple of early Sisters Gigs
- F-club, as above (except I don't know where the F-club was)
- Errrmmmm help me out here

I've heard that
Francis is a top Leeds tour guide*
*although it might have been "top Leeds girl guide" - I can't remember

Certain people were running around Leeds on the Saturday of Black Oktober looking at Sisters-related landmarks.
Marky, can't believe you didn't mention the Fav. Wasn't it you who got thrown out after behaving badly towards Waaaayne?
Other than the F-Club, Warehouse, and presumably Blank Canvas, Joseph's Well and all the other NME sites, nowhere in Leeds strikes me as visit-worthy for gigs...

What about "above the chemist"?

@ Tim: Oh yeah I forgot the Fav.
Yes that was me.
Moving swiftly on... "Above The Chemist" is/was 7 Village Place as I understand it.

Just as long as we have the means to certain amphetamines,
the what, where, why, who and how do not really matter.....as long as we are all together......
The thought has just brought tears to my eyes....

The Fenton?

I'm always glad of an excuse to wander around LS6 and the City Centre reminiscing about the Good Old Days as JohnnyM, Boudicca and Pikkrong can testify. The Black Oktober In The Rain Driving Tour consisted of:
7 Village Place
Hyde Park Picture House
The Royal Park Pub
Woodhouse Moor
Leeds University Refectory
The Faversham
Joseph's Well
The Warehouse
The Fenton
Pikkrong's got the photos somewhere.
We'd already been to the Phono the night before. Blank Canvas and the Cockpit should probably have been included as well. And I recommend popping into Jumbo Records in the St John's Centre first for a copy of the wonderful Leeds Picture Map by local artist James Brown.
I am available most weekends and come cheap for the price of a pint of Wadworth's 6X,a bag of salt 'n' vinegar crisps and a pickled egg.

Can I book a couple of tickets for a tour in February please, and how did we miss that one ?.

Oh Francis, please tell me you took them down to 7 Village Place and went to the end of the road. Pointed out the Leeds borough boundaries and 'The Sun' pub across the green so we can all understand the lyric from "War On Drugs."
"Head on back to Kirkstall, in the shadow of the sun"
Roughly meaning, I'm going back to the pub.

Which is about as far as any Sisters tour should go. Take your pick, but I'd recommend The Fenton above the others, simply cos it's better.
But if you're gonna do it, don't forget the Poly on the way up to the Refec - saw my first Sisters gig there in 91, and by all accounts it blew the bollox of the Uni gig the night before.

That's what I thought.
@robertzombie(?) the fire I mean is a fire in a house that does not seem to exist.

Leeds Poly rules - Leeds University doesn't. Never known an educational establishment look down it's nose as much as what Leeds University does to it's sister down the hill. Numerous times I visited their library and was looked at like something the librarian had just trod in.
And Poly had better looking girls

...And you can add Rock Shack on Cardigan Road to your list - it's where their guitars have been strung.
