I remember the first time I saw this top, during a brief visit back up north for the first time in a year or two, and I honestly thought that new depths had been plumbed..

The official line is that at the time there were quite a few Dutch on the books at Ibrox, and some 'Gers fans took to wearing Holland home shirts to games, thus orange was adopted for an away strip colour.

I'm not so sure - but it brightens up my wardrobe somewhat.

Luckily I have a bright orange safety jacket from some Westphalian landscape engineering thing for that purpose... :lol:
