is this not in fact a reference to recent live interpretations of old songs e.g slow body electric (which i'm yet to hear if some kind soul would like to point me in the right direction), the "thrash" amphetamine logic and marian, the bizarre detonation blvd/dr.jeep segue, the new (now old!) FALAA, etc.?
To be honest I can't remember where i read it. :?
Think I read it somewhere too, could it be in one of this summer's reviews?

Eldritch, a techie geek! Whow! I Have never heard his 'techie' period or any evidence of his geekiness in this department.

I don't for one minute think that Jim Steinman was responsible for only 1.5 tracks on Floodland. Where did Eldritch suddenly acquire this production ability for the rest of it, as far as I can remember his previous production work - Mexico Sundown Blues by JR & the Performance - was quite unremarkable. During the demoing for Floodland he was working with Roy Neave (producer) and then jim Steinman. Producers are appointed by the record company (sometimes at the choice of the band)to make sure the band record a sellable product, they work for the company not the band.

True, but you do have to have more than an avid interest.

I'm not sure I'd go that far, but I agree the marriage worked extremely well. :notworthy: Conversely, I think Steinman's input clogged up More. Without Eldritch's lyrics (or at any rate, his contribution - they were a joint effort if I remember correctly), I'm sure it would just sound like standard fodder for Meatloaf or Bonnie Tyler.

The sound of Gary Marx
The sound of That Guitarist
The sound of Jim Steinman
The sound of James/Bruhn & Brucheno

Or does it just appear this way to me?
Strange question. Of course the Sisters don't exist.
I mean, when was the last time they released a record, for example?

Then how come it's not listed as one of the best Sisters songs, according to Moses? ;)

Coz moses thought it was crap aswell.

Personally I think it's a triumphant track, worthy of God's own list

That's news to me. I remember him expressing reservations about the song in an interview shortly after VT was released. Did he have a change of heart then?

and it's not been played live for ages, which must say something..... 'cause although i shouldn't imagine it's very popular with many sisters fans either, i doubt that von compiles the set lists with our preferences in mind. :?

It would appear that Moses has extremely bad taste. Who is this Moses fella anyway?

No and yes.
If you're correct, this gives serious weight to the suggestion that Schrödinger's cat was in fact Spiggy
My cat is named Schr'o'dinger.
