That should say last of the red ones. The character is "ai", the only reason I know it is because Japanese borrows it.

I'd recommend Kanji, but someone correct me if I'm wrong.

They're used together. Hiragana represents phonetically spelt Japanese words, Katakana represents phonetically spelt western words and Kanjia is just stolen from China.

A friend from Orkney has told me that the local council have taken down the Twatt sign, because of tourists constantly stopping to take photos of it. :lol: I'm surprised they needed to - I thought it would have been stolen very quickly.
