I can't believe I'm gonna see in the same week two of the bands who changed my life... and in the same city... THE SISTERS OF MERCY on Tuesday and THE CULT on Friday (which happens to be Saint Patrick's). Life is treating me nicely... :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

yes, we in the better part of north america are a little shagrined that the cult seemed to have left their favourite north american city off of the tour...

i do hope it's fun. looking at the setlists, it should be f**king killer....

Yes indeed there is an unofficial afterparty at NEO. I know because im one of the DJ's. (Marco). I know that Exit is having 45 Grave play at midnight but their cheap beer is $5. Neo has cheep beer, like $2 or $3 for Labbats or PBR. besides its ALL Sisters ALL NIGHT and NEO is a 4am bar so you can stop by after the 45 grave set. BTW, hey Sinsister I think I know you. Im the one with the sisters metal pin on my leather and the black frame glasses. see you there.

Hey, SINsister, I think I love you. So what am I so afraid of?

I'm afraid that I'm not sure of a love there is no cure for.

Yo, Mistah Kurtz, I can't help you with the Labatt's question 'cos I don't touch the stuff. *Shudder* :P

Hmmm...I have a feeling I know you, too. I wish I'd see you here. Or there, tonight. Alas... :( :von:

Ugh, here I sit with two tickets and now I can't go...work scheduled changed.

Anyone in the Milwaukee area want 2 free tickets? Not sure how to get them to anyone in time though with the show tomorrow.

I was so looking forward to this...

Chicago Metro 3-14-06

It has indeed moved to the Metro, I called Congress Theater and the Metro earlier, and Congress is looping a recording saying the show has been moved.

The real person I spoke to at the Metro suggested Doors at 6:30 and a 7:30 Start. All tickets issued valid for the new venue.

I like the Metro much more...pleasing indeed.

In a nutshell, FANF*CKINGTASTIC. Can't post the setlist, 'cos I'm a bit wasted and not too fast on the ball, anyway. Needless to say, had to have easily been the best night of my life (and I've been around awhile, kids ;P) thus far. More later when I've sobered up (or not, dunno how interested you lot'll be in tales of snagging Von's partial setlist and Ben's guitar pick, but I digress...). DAMN, that was a blast. \m/ :von:

i would just like to say

that sinsister is totally hot!!!!!
and my daughter ended up right up front in front of the new guitarist on the right side of the stage, and she scored not only a pick:) but he also told the security guard to give her the setlist:)
we saw him later and said thank you!
i so wanted to take him home with me:)
