They do. We were quite a scary bunch in 2001. Well, come to think of it, maybe after that experience they've decided not to let goffs into their palace again....  Keep us posted on the results, please... ;D

I tried to get the Moat House deal this year (am actually going to some gigs :D ) but I don't think they're doing it anymore - it's relatively expensive now.
The travelodge looks like the place to go - it's a bit further down the road but is only 25 quid.

Oh, they didn't do it directly. It was the Tourist Information Centre through which I got that deal.

Smoothhound used to do it but I couldn't find it this year..

As long as you avoid the Bentinck everything should be OK..

About everything is wrong with the Bentinck as far as I've been told. The few who have survived have either fallen ill or in some other way encountered bad luck. *imagine eerie soundtrack* It's just not a good place to spend a night in.... :von:

I've never had the misfortune to stay there but I've heard the horror stories... It's had some good reviews though!

The Travelodge is indeed most ideal - the carparking is rather suspect tho....you give yer keys to a chav and he 'parks' it elsewhere *hhmmmn, there does seem to be a lot of taxis in Nottigham of an evening.

Last time we stopped there...so did The Killers. (am just trying to remember why we stopped, when Nottingham is kinda local???)

If there's no Sisters gig in Brum, Nottingham's the nearest I can get to.

I will be attending, as will my Claire (the wife) and my travelling partner in crime Nick (just don't give him any vodka).

Don't stay at the YMCA, it may be cheap (stayed their for NMA 20th) but it was a f**king hole! Doors kicked in, dirty rooms the lot.

Travelodge sounds good.

Matt..
