Personally, I like it.
Damage Done is definitely one of my favourites... in fact, the whole single is pretty good.
One of the grooviest basslines this side of 1980! :D

in all seriousness to the topic of this thread -i really don't object to people who want to criticise the sisters -as long as that's not their raison d'etre. if -like the rest of us- you are a fan who simply has some beef with the lack of (insert topic here) or wants to slag-off the this/that/and the other of sisters fandom then feel free. it's those of "us" who seem to want to constantly put the band down -no matter what the subject under discussion is- that get my rather mangy goat.

Oh Lee! We don't want to know about your mangy goat :innocent:  ... there are ladies around you know...

In recent discussions with two other HLanders, we have ended up comparing this forum to Royston Vasey... :innocent:

Yeah, something like that although that within itself would stay underground...if you know what I mean..

lol...

Nice to see some of the points put forward..

I suppose I was just a bit miffed at 16-year-olds from Hicksville, Nowheresville, United States, coming on at demanding that the Sisters change their modus operandi to suit their own personal prefences..

Perhaps they should remember that the band did originate in a country where the customer most definitely isn't king...

Anyways, I suppose this'll keep rolling on as the tour continues..

oh the joy..[/i]

And we haven't even started to discuss the "they OWE us a new album" topic yet.

It's true that I haven't been on this forum for long. But I've had that kind of discussion before, most notably on a Kate Bush forum. The - then only - 5 years hiatus between albums can drive some folks crazy.

That was swell.

5 years? Wussies!

That was in 1998.

In the end there was a 12 years gap between "The red shoes" (93) and "Aerial" (05), with no live gigs (Kate hasn't performed live since 1979) and very few new songs (like 3) in between.

So it stands comparison with :von:

4 years and some people were already getting all silly about it. Can't imagine what happened after that.

Oh... it's been discussed here though, believe me!

Maybe slightly irritating, but even more annoying to me are those who in spite of their their obvious insane longing for some new stuff, pepper every sentence with arse-licking and "of course, he doesn't owe us anything, not at all..."

Yeah, of course, no musician owes his or her "public" anything really... but it does make him a complacent lazy bugger :innocent: :von: .

Still totally would though  .

I don't doubt it, not the least. And it will probably resurface sooner or later.

I also remember another annoying and pointless debate about Kate Bush being gay, pretty much like the one that took place on this forum a while ago when I was just a passive spectator.

Looks like these are quite common concerns.
