Belgian HL Invasion!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I promised myself I wouldn't cry...

You'll be just flying off your seats with delight to hear that I have just booked my air ticket as well. Now all that remains is to get past the heavies at Prestwick airport (no small feat, welcome to the UK indeed), and I shall 100% deffo be there and irritating the living s**t out of you all... ;D

What I mean of course, is that I will be so polite, so infuriatingly nice and agreeable, so quiet and unobtrusive, that it will drive you crazy...

Backtacking furiously here, I know which side my bread is buttered on!

Waffles are from Brussels as well, can't really think of any place rhyming with it though

Frietjes van 't Frituur (ask for frieten, not chips or you'll get a pack of crips ), Bloedworst (Blood sausage, you'll have to try it with apples and cinnamon, delightful!), Stoofvlees, ... you'll be completely stuffed by the time you get back to your plane

I can see it now : we'll all be slaving over a hot stove all weekend long, IZ. These people aren't interested in music, just in filling their bellies! ;D

P.S. : Great to hear you've booked, Claire. I'll enjoy your unobtrusive silence all weekend long... ;)
