Drinking About My Baby....

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

You have got to be f**king joking. You're objecting to folk posting about "drinks" in a "currently drinking" thread?

Some bizarre concoction of Horlicks with hot chocolate, painfully proclaiming "Less than 40 calories". Firstly, that's not enough, and secondly, it's "fewer".
In any case, it doesn't taste too bad when sugar and milk are added to fill it out a bit. :urff:

It's only oh dear when you finish it, the rest of the wine, and then move onto the cooking sherry ;D

A dry one tonight - had a few (and then a few more) pints of the most scrumptiously delicious Bulmers (AKA Magners) I've ever tasted in my life last night, so the after-effects are kicking in.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

A nice glass of red wine, sitting at a rather old PC on a 56k dial-up modem ( ) at my parents house in Shropshire.

It doesn't make the modem work any faster though - maybe I need more wine?
