March Violets gig

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

I'm sure we could work out a deal of some kind

cheers & many thanx in advance!
Yeah of course we can work out a deal - I'll pick one up for you and send it over. Deal done, with pleasure (so long as someone reminds me to buy it, in case refreshment has been taken :innocent: ).

:D
Was going to say the same thing - I'll remind Dave and he can remind me. Sorted. :D

Dave: remember to buy the CD.

There we go, job done.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Its nice to know that dispite being bitter about an ugly split the music is considered the all important thing.

I guess a lot of his vitriol is directed at Loz/Cleo, reading between the lines isn't very difficult in this case.

Reading those old news clippings that Quiffy has online, I would be amazed if Simon weren't still smarting. Dunno about Loz, but Cleo certainly seems to have had it in for him. (On the basis of those interviews alone, she would seem to be a rather arrogant and smug person in general, but of course I know that journos are not to be trusted to report one's comments fairly, as Morrisey could tell you.)

Folks... Please be aware that e-tickets and pre-purchased CDs will no longer be available after midnight tonight (Wednesday). However tickets will still be available through all other outlets and on the door at the gig. So don't miss out on what is shaping up to be one of the best events of the year, just because you haven't got your ticket yet...

And if you see an old git with long blond hair and wearing a Violets t-shirt, offer to buy him a drink, since it'll probably be me! (Worth a try... )

See you all on Saturday (and thanks from the Violets and myself to all those people that have helped by putting up posters and dishing out flyers around the country via the Facebook event thingy)...

What's your tipple of choice anyway? I reckon some booze is certainly well earned for the work you've done on making this possible. :notworthy:

I've emailed Si's own e-mail address (lurkers: don't ask where I got it, or ask me to pass it on) today to pester him about it. :innocent:
