okay so tell me why. sweden didn't look like they wanted to play. nor the dutch. nor italy. the group matches were so good what is going on now? how about we get some fun in the semi-finals?

Sweden and Italy always play like that. Holland had a day off at the beach so it seemed.
Spain - Russia should be fun.
Germany - Turks won't be as the Turks miss NINE players and are intending to let their third goalie play as a forward.

I watched the Spain/ Italy penalties in a bar in JFK airport.
It was getting quite tense & I looked around at one point & just about half the airport was stood there watching.

I think Croatia would have had a better chance. They did not really deserve to lose against Turkey IMO.

If we'd ended up with a Germany v Italy final then I wouldn't have watched it. Will defo watch the final now though, should be good whoever plays.

I was surprised by the Turks who missed lots and lots of players.
The Germans could not impress me at all. Actually they only did against Portugal.
But yeah, they are in the finals. I guess that's the thing that counts....
