sorry I'm afraid there won't be any.
but Gent has plenty of nice bars though :)
You mean delirium Tremens for example Christophe?

Maybe just keep next word in mind: 'overpoort', that's the place to be (although it's holidays...). Good old days...
yes and yes, but like you say it is not exactly the ideal moment for the best parties...
don't go near the overpoort now, it's deserted!
and even when it's not, it's far from the place to go out in ghent... better to try your luck somewhere more in the centre of the city.

you better make the right one
(just joking, hope everything will turn out allright)

@ MadameButterfly and others. I think its best to ask people's phonenumbers if you are arriving early. finding a bar near the festival won't be a problem, there are plenty in the area.
and when the gates open (19h) just go to the festival, that is where it is happening, that is methinks the best way to find other heartlanders.

@ mickydazzler and other people staying in Gent
Overpoort might be good, but the safest bet is to stay in the center of the city, plenty of nice bars there.

That sounds like a very good plan indeed! Anyone needing my number let me know, we'll find each other and the best way is on that field by festival.
I'll step into the best looking pub when I get there!
