Go for it. I most likely won't bid on many items as I have to save money.

However, I already have the really interesting items, ie. the WEA box, the red Silence as well as the Lucretia and Doctor Jeep tp's

Well, I think I need one of them. Definitly. And I am sure, I will try to get it, if I don´t forget to bid....
And if I said interesting things, it doesn´t mean, that I do not have them... :innocent:
Maybe a second WEA Box....??? :urff: No, just kidding....!

true story, in the days before the net. My mate pointed it out to me, we looked at it and thought it was just the dominion box with the 12" we already had stuffed in it. He bought the 13? CD box set for about £20 instead as it seemed better value for money and I bought it mainly to put other records in as my Dominion box was full

this was the days of the old small Eastern Bloc when their main interest was smiths/ new order fanzines and bootlegs, but just before the whole madchester scene kicked in

Not sure these count on this thread, but some interesting early photos here, from 1983 in Leeds:

I wonder, for which the prices the Greek is looking. The WEA box is at US$790 and the red Silence at US$760 - both times "Reserve not me".

This might be acceptable for the WEA box but for the red Silence the current bid is quite high already (the last one in 2011 went for GBP351 according to popsike). :|

The Red actually USD: 385, not 760. That would be a litte bit to high, or? :-)
And I am not sure, if the Greek wasn´t the winner last year with the GBP 351... can not remember.

The Ghost Riders could become expensive too.

 Mixed it up, the US$760 was for the signed DD...

I've been following this thread and was wondering if anyone could answer this question, who is the Greek?

A bootlegger? a bad reputation? an industry? I find it all very interesting.

Paul.

I'm quite sure the box will go higher than US$1,000 (US$970 already and 16h to go), but let's see
