Nothing but "the immigruntz" as reasons for leaving. It really makes me sad. I had hoped that people were better than this.

It would appear 52% of people are mean spirited and selfish Mark. It's very saddening as you say.

Another worrying thing
FTA
but the 21-year-old is unemployed. She didn't vote in the referendum. She says she didn't know much about it and was waiting for a leaflet to come through her door.
Does she live under a rock?
&
Dawn didn't vote at all. She says she was too busy.
&
Many of the people the BBC meets on the streets of Harehills and Hovingham did not vote. Some were not eligible, but others say they never bother.
These people have absolutely no right whatsoever to complain about anything

Re: people never having voted: I found all the malarkey about the pencils in the polling booths quite telling.

As much as i'm for do someting instead complaing, so vote when you have right to do so, i still can't find any good reasoning for such statements. People can complain even when they didn't vote, their moral grond are smaller but they still have right to complain.

Fair enough, but I don't see it that way.
These people are afforded all the rights of being a UK citizen which include a democratic right to have a voice, albeit a small one.
They have chosen not to use that voice, so they should zip it & deal with it.
Much in the same way the UKIP morons should have STFU on EU matters that they couldn't be bothered to debate or vote on.
They have waived their right as far as I'm concerned.

That's all true; they could have use their voice by voting, yet they didn't lost their voice to comment by not doing this.
But it's all true everyone (both sides) have to deal with that situation.
As i see this, UK is in some people's eyes almost as Germans at the beginning of WWI.

Are we going to invade Belgium?

,,,, the Germans had the Schlieffen Plan at start of WWI
UK has no plan for exit from EU.

i presume he means the second world war, as at the start of the first world war germany was no better or worse than this country. both were just imperial wankers spoiling for a fight to decide who was the hardest.

Not really, after WWI almost everyone in UK loved Germans and Germany, thus so many pubs had "Fritz" or similar germanophile words in their tafels, when war was started all turned completely other way.

I believe more and more for each day passing, that there is never going to be a Brexit. If the "Leave Tories" are serious about Brexit, they must all vote for Leadsom, but I see no signs of that happening. If they just want to continue complaining about the EU without actually leaving it, they should vote May, which most of them probably will.

That's slightly childish; but on the other hand, some see UK as only country that can stop EU from implementing "irrational" law, prevent from what other countries can (because they don't have enought diplomatic and/or political, and/or economic power).
Yet, I would like to see that UK gonna say officially: we are about to leave EU/ We are going to stay and member of EU.

Yeah I think you're right.
Whoever wins the Tory leadership is going to end up screwed either way. Either put Article 50 into action, and tank the UK economy even further, making the Tories unelectable in 2020... or refuse, prompting back-bench rebellion and mass defections to UKIP, making the Tories unelectable in 2020.
OK, Boris will probably swoop in as the "saviour of the party" before then, but hopefully he won't make too much difference to the self-inflicted disaster they'll face in four years' time.
The only problem is, by 2020 it'll be too late to fix a lot of the damage.

So far, only one "good" thing that came up after referendum is making Ballard's nightmare come true - nationalistic based attacks on foreing minoritires.

Funny, the longer it takes, the more certain it seems to me that Brexit is becoming a fact ... and if only to prove that democracy it the most important value to adhere to at any rate ...
....
