The Cult

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Duffy played the intro before Edie. Nice.

Bit of a delayed report, but a Big :notworthy: to Weebles, Dave and Sarah. Was one of the best gigs I've been to in years, rounded off by Planet buying an unofficial T-shirt outside for a tenner, me and Weebles buying exactly the same shirt from a bloke next to him for a fiver

Did anyone notice Astbury throwing his tambourine into the crowd only for it to be thrown back..?

He did that loads of times at southampton, don't know if he got it back everytime though
To not know and to ask a question is a moment of embarrassment; to not know and not ask is a lifetime of shame.

Bit late to be asking - but anyone going to see them in Glasgow tonight? The Academy isn't a great venue in my opinion. :|

Its always better seeing a band when they've nothing new to promote,I think. They play the hits and the good stuff without all that "Here's a new one" bollocks.
Good set, good sound and even Astbury's ego was smaller than it used to be.Does exactly was it says on the tin.
Couldnt agree more... Top Night out...

Horrible, horrible audio and video of The Cult at Leeds. Billy plays a small bit of the Temple of Love intro about 1:40 into the video. Right before that he plays a line from Theatre of Hate's Do You Believe in the Westworld?

Gotta admit defeat to Dave's superior T-shirt (obviously twice as good as ours). Mine's been through a wash already, so is already down as £2.50 a wear - value for money or what..?

er...a wee quote like thingy from the Cult's management
" THE CULT ARE SELLING OUT EVERYWHERE ON UK TOUR AND CAUSING MAJOR RECORD COMPANY FEEDING FRENZY IN LONDON "
thought you'd enjoy that
Dim, through the misty panes and thick green light,
As under a green sea, I saw him drowning.
