All we need is "Come Together" and that's the full set of new songs covered (apart from all those ones they don't play live ).
aye, whatever happened to 'maximum jack'? was it deemed just too gung-ho to get an outing?Erudite wrote:All we need is "Come Together" and that's the full set of new songs covered (apart from all those ones they don't play live ).
Maybe it was played instrumental as Snub Nose/Top Nite Out?Quiff Boy wrote:aye, whatever happened to 'maximum jack'? was it deemed just too gung-ho to get an outing?Erudite wrote:All we need is "Come Together" and that's the full set of new songs covered (apart from all those ones they don't play live ).

The interview where Maximum Jack was mentioned was right before the first gig they played Crash&Burn and Top Nite Out, right?

but I was wrong, the interview was just before the eXXile-tour 2001. So Maximum Jack cannot be Top Nite Out.
Sic! Still closer to Hells Gate than to Hope.Ozpat wrote:Still closer to hell's gate though?!17.auflage wrote:Just took a little look. And I nearly can´t believe it. Now I am getting a little bit excited after all those years.
That was about Jack Straw, right? Wasn't he defense minister for the UK? It's pretty outdated by now, I'd imagine.... if it existed at allQuiff Boy wrote:aye, whatever happened to 'maximum jack'? was it deemed just too gung-ho to get an outing?Erudite wrote:All we need is "Come Together" and that's the full set of new songs covered (apart from all those ones they don't play live ).

but why not in the lyric section?_emma_ wrote:Well, I think I suggested about a month ago already that it would be great if all the lyrics were present at the official site.
Does it matter?christophe wrote:but why not in the lyric section?_emma_ wrote:Well, I think I suggested about a month ago already that it would be great if all the lyrics were present at the official site.
Oh come on, they are not in the record news section. They are in the live news section, and the sole purpose is that we could sing along the proper words in case the lead singer feels like having a break.this gives me the creeps I tell you

The lyrics section has separate pages for each song. Therefore adding new songs involves creating new pages (plus a graphic for each song title) plus add links to the lyrics index page.christophe wrote:but why not in the lyric section?_emma_ wrote:Well, I think I suggested about a month ago already that it would be great if all the lyrics were present at the official site.
Seems to me he put them there for attention. T'would be easy enough to add new lyrics to the proper section, but who would notice... and when?lazarus corporation wrote:The lyrics section has separate pages for each song. Adding them to the bottom of the live news page is far less work. Especially for someone with dodgy HTML skills.
Looking at it from a different perspective - hey, you've got the lyrics now. Be happy.
