hey I'm happy, no doubt about that.
it just is all a bit strange, suddenly those lyrics, new song on the way? ...
if you ask me, if someone was working on a new album they use other techniques to promote it, how many people do you reashe with this? only us heartlanders and the dominion members.
on the other hand this makes me believe or someone near him is browsing heartland... so I better shut up right?

Another Shade of You.
I could bet all I have that it would get a mention on this forum within minutes after adding them there.beatnick138 wrote:Seems to me he put them there for attention. T'would be easy enough to add new lyrics to the proper section, but who would notice... and when?

not that I want to micturate on anyone's chips or anything, but a nasty thought occurred to me today - could it be that the official release of these lyrics is actually the final letting go of the idea of a new record? Von saying "I had plans for these, but they've come to naught so here you go"? And they're on the live page as an acknowledgement that that's the only way we'll ever hear them?
Bugger. Hope not.

The things I miss living on PDT (and not getting out of bed til after noon... ).
On the other hand, that's the nicest thing to wake up to I can think of, short of...erm, well.
I think he may be paying attention...or not.

I might have thought that, had it not been for Arms and Far Parade actually being new. He's at least making the statement that he's writing. Yeah, it's always possible they'll never be heard any way but live - but not because 'they've come to naught'.maggieloveshopey wrote:...could it be that the official release of these lyrics is actually the final letting go of the idea of a new record? You also wondered just recently whether Far Parade was truly 'new'. And now he's dated it._emma_ wrote:Well, I think I suggested about a month ago already that it would be great if all the lyrics were present at the official site.

Hey, Mr Eldritch if you're reading this, and if you ever decide to make that Reptile House online shop start working properly, please consider adding some really snazzy items to it.
PS. I think you're cute, in case you didn't know that yet.

Beeeeeeautifuuuuuull!
Put their heads on f*cking pikes in front of the venue for all I care.
I stop paying attention for a few days, and look what happens!?!?!?
Nice to finally have lyrics for these songs - and new ones? That haven't even been played yet? (unless I missed something else) Wow - maybe I should go away more often.
I was kind of ashamed of how excited I got about this - the lyrics, and how the site is actually alive. Then I remembered where I was and who I was talking to.

We would think Neil Diamond fans were crazy if he puts lyrics online and the crowd is cheering for that already.
Nice to know the lyrics to an unsung song. It's probably an ode to Ballard.
EDIT:
I'm really convinced of von's flirt on futurism and technocracy if he would get rid of useless url's in the link section, such as http://www.dnai.com/~obo/ubu/index.html
All this suggesting and hinting on a new album etc. is charming but very useless. Sisters aren't Depeche Mode, who are still popular because they were & are pioneers and yet also stay close to their body and soul.
IF it will happen that Von wants to bring out a record in the future, he'll ask for your adress and money so he'll send a TDK-tape with 5 new songs.
So enjoy the smoke, the whining sound and howls - but don't expect a new Sisters album in 2009, 2010... 2030.

This is all so very wonderful - I am positively giddy!! No matter how remote the possibility may be.... it is a real possibility!!!

I just had a mind flash
As far as i can remember, back to the age of the dinosaurs called 80's...
The first knowledge about the group was from those single and EP series from Reptile House era...
Why can't they sell also CD singles for all those songs...
A nice package of a old skool printed T-Shirt with the lyrics and a CD-single
in small number of copies numbered and collectable
or a nice Live DVD with the best fragmants they would like to share...
Sisters never release officially a Live Album of their own
I think it is time for them to think about it...

What's with all the negative waves? We should be used to the concept of there not being a new LP sometime (anytime!) soon by now. Even with that, taking all the evidence together there seems to be at least some indication of more activity in the camp than usual.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.
