Robbins Well

Yo! It looks like Robbins Well is open all day (upstairs) and the downstairs goth/alt music (called 'Your God is Your Chain') starts at 6pm.

My guess is there must be some alt music on the jukie upstairs so with a bit of early investment it could be a good place to hang out - if its a nice day the park opposite is also a good idea.

Going out of the train station, turning left under the underpass, following the path behind the station, going across the zebra and down the path opposite takes you to a footbridge that crosses the river to that big park (note ... it has a bandstand.. if only we could get a nice noisy band on there in the afternoon... hmmm... !) :) .. didn't bauhaus do a New York gig on a bandstand once...

I was trying to think of a pub with a nice beer garden for the afternoon but with the demise of The Jug I'm struggling.
I guess there's the White Horse?

But yeah, failing that Robins Well would do I guess. ;D

But we could liven it up with a few well chosen hawaiian shirts

Looks like it could be a good one. Hello to all by the way, I'll be the one in the Dominion jacket not talking to anyone. (Unless thirsty of course). I'm actually quite a decent bastard.

Just over a week to go :D , getting exited. I've not seen the sisters since Birmingham NEC '92  (I know, don't shout). I wanted to ask you all, what's it like for merchandise at the gigs these days (If there is any)? I'm not sure how much money to take.

P.S. It's my birthday today :D , 39 :urff:

Ah,I believe this is my department gentleman,I'll take it from here...
last year at the Leeds gig I spent about a hundred quid on "merch" but that included four or five t shirts and a hoody.
T shirts will be £18-20 Hoody's £35-40 scarves £6ish
There will be probably be a tour shirt for the summer dates, and maybe some of the lyric shirts from last year, and anything else they have left over from previous tours.

Oh,and happy birthday!

I did the same but bought the scarf instead of a hoody. I then took the 'smoking pass out' option and shoved it all in the car so I had my hands free for a drink or six :D

As did I! On the way in I asked the chap on the door if we were allowed out and he said "Why do you smoke?" I told him that I didn't but I was going to buy t shirts, and he let me back out clutching an armful of goodies that I nipped back to the hotel 8)
