Re-run of currently watching

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I was determined not to like Sherlock, being a huge fan of the 1980's Granada TV Sherlock Holmes adaptations starring Jeremy Brett. However, I caught reruns on some random digital channel over the holiday, and I must say it's been done with a real affection for the source material. It's not quite Holmes for the purist, but I have really enjoyed it.

The last season of Sherlock drew me in, without my even noticing it. The new season is just about right with the humour and Benedict Cumberbatch is a revelation.

True Detective on HBO with Woody Harrelson and Matthew Magonhay....superb drama. Unsure on the correct spelling of Matthews surname though!

Ted

Nice idea, dull chickflick/buddy movie.

Went to see the Tiger Lillies performing Lulu - A Murder Ballad at the West Yorkshire Playhouse last night. Highly recommended; if you get to see them. Beautifully sinister.

Went to the cinema last night for the first time in years.

Now we're 4 episodes in the 2nd season of The Bridge. Good stuff.

Hey, you. Hope you're well. That's one of my favorite shows - it's like The X-Files crossed with Altered States.

If you're still in the first half of season 1, it gets better. Much, much better. So much better! AVOID ALL SPOILERS
