Read, read, read!!!! education, imagination, humour

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I thought there was something that would come through that would say this is why we still play together because we still love it and get on so well still. What he seems to be saying is I am writing my biog to let you know that I am the real genius behind the Stones and we are only in it for more money.
I'll stick with the Dolls - I reckon the Stones ripped them off anyway.

I thought that was really good---quite accurate in his descriptions of working with other chefs-It prompted me to get a few books from Mario Batali :)
It really is quite a good read :) Mario is such a character. Another chef I'd love to have an all night eat/drink fest with ;D

You should try Jacques Pepin's 'The Apprentice', if you haven't already :)

The thing about Marco Pierre White that bugs me:

Those Knorr stock adverts. Does he really need the money that badly?

gotta agree on that one---I still rate him as the best chef to come out of this country ever(well apart from Floyd... and Fanny Craddock  )

BTW--I would advertise anything if there was a nice pay check for doing so--I'm a bit of a whore that way!!

But most people who earn a lot tend to spend a lot (as well as having to pay a hefty wedge to the taxman).

Unless he has a commodity or some gimmick that people are gonna keep shelling out for (think Rich~ass Branson and "the Dark Lord Amstrad" ) then I can see why yer celebs like Stephen Fry need to do such awful adverts to keep funding their lifestyles :|

Obviously, he is not the Creative Director, he is just the geezer who comes along and speaks the lines

BUT

In a world where adverts seem to be worse than they used to be, that advert is particularly awful

My copy is well loved. You'll find the cardboard over-cover very handy; it will get muddy.
