We've fallen a few days behind, so here's the round-up of gigs that have taken place over the years in late January/early February:
31st January
Cancelled show in 1998, Washington DC
https://sisterswiki.org/Sat,_31-Jan-1998
1st February
1998, Toronto
https://sisterswiki.org/Sun,_01-Feb-1998
2nd February
No known gigs (lazy, workshy bunch)
3rd February
1998, Chicago
https://sisterswiki.org/Tue,_03-Feb-1998
4th February
No known gigs (see 2nd February)
5th February
1982, York
https://sisterswiki.org/Tue,_05-Feb-1982
1998, San Francisco
https://sisterswiki.org/Thu,_05-Feb-1998
Given a time machine, I know which of those show I'd like to go to most, and it didn't take place in 1998.

And the second night in San Francisco, 1998 was today (6th February):

Both nights at the Forum were great - so much better than the 97 shows.
Properly loud and smoke thick enough to obscure your hand in front of your face.

16th February. The official birthday of the Sisters. Anything that came before can be considered the pregnancy. 'The Damage Done' is the three month scan. Craig joining is the day they found out if it's a boy or a girl.
And then, in 1981, in York there was

Followed by
1991, in Leeds,
https://sisterswiki.org/Sat,_16-Feb-1991
And then back to York for 2001
https://sisterswiki.org/Fri,_16-Feb-2001
Before hopping to Las Vega for 2006
https://sisterswiki.org/Thu,_16-Feb-2006
And then once more, back to Leeds for
https://sisterswiki.org/Wed,_16-Feb-2011
It's only in writing this that I noticed the first official gig took place on a Monday night. Had it in my head that with it being a CND benefit show, it was part of an all dayer on a Saturday. Reading NVL's blog (
http://sistersfan.blogspot.com/2017/05/ ... found.html) I see that it was just a nondescript Monday night in York.

Good time, that. Has a recording ever surfaced?
It was unseasonably cold that evening.

Not that I know of any recording from this gig ... only Las Vegas and then Mexico City in February that year ...

That was a lovely gig I really enjoyed - well ok, it had some minor sound failures, but hell, that's life! Sadly enough, no recording has ever surfaced ... a pity.
