Just pre-ordered my copy of the new album. £9 including postage for the limited double CD at www.hmv.co.uk. Best price by some way that I've found so far.
Me too.sziamiau wrote:yeah I saw them in Sopron at Volt in 2006
I really only went for t'Mish but stayed for The Cult and lasted two songs. Astbury mumbling through Lil Devil and Rain whilst missing every other line didn't impress me a great deal. It did however make me glad that I didn't bother to stay and watch them a couple of days earlier in Sheffield. All that said,I was actually considering the Rock City gig, because, you know,it's Rock City, but the tickets are thirty quid plus fees,so no thank you.Hom_Corleone wrote:After the last Birmingham gig I don't think I'll bother.
It was lacklustre at best.
Never go back.
Tickets are actually £29.50 that's the price if you pay cash at the Rock City box office. If you order them online add an additional £2.95 booking fee PER TICKET on top.Pista wrote:How much??
What's the "plus fees" mean?

Sloppy seconds on the thread-necro, but yes, Glasgow tickets purchased, accommodation & flight booked), would like to do second night in London too seeing as that's nearest where I live.Pista wrote:Sorry for the necro, but anyone going to catch them on the Electric 13 tour?

Sorry to drag this back up, but I've just been reading one of the Cult message boards, and it touched on why I'm not going to see them on the Electric 13 tour when it gets to London. They turned up downunder in Perth and Brisbane in the past couple of days and only played 70% of Electric (they dropped the last two tracks from the album, Outlaw and Memphis Hip Shake). What?!? Drop a couple of the "Hits" from the last part of the show by all means, but at least play all of the album you're touring!!Hom_Corleone wrote:After the last Birmingham gig I don't think I'll bother.

Lost it!!
Hom, was that with the Mish in Birmingham?
Yeah...that's how I felt. Being out with long time hardcore travelling Cult friends was good for the catching up...and for being blown away by T'Mish during Deliverance was worth the admission thoHom_Corleone wrote:Yes mate - it was.Andie wrote:Sorry to drag this back up, but I've just been reading one of the Cult message boards, and it touched on why I'm not going to see them on the Electric 13 tour when it gets to London. Lifeless and going through the motions basically.
Keeping the money machine rolling.
