all 3 albums reissued with bonus tracks.

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Yeh, this one:

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

The clip of Neverland (complete) certainly sounds different to the 7'36" version I've got copies of (notably on the 3 disc Demos & Outtakes 1981-1986 set) - if it is the same track it has been polished up with the drums sorted out. Unfortunately no vocals on the clip...

Still not conclusive that it's for real. The Never Land clip is the only thing we haven't heard before (and that would therefore give it away), but that's too similar in style to the "Fragment" to tell anything.

Who knows - maybe the other 5 minutes of it is just Von laughing at us?

Just done a quick AB of Ribbons with a rip of the CD...slightly more high end on it? Hard to tell if an MP3 coming through crap speakers is the result of a remastering or not ;)

Maybe it's because the compressed MP3/WMA or whatever. I'm so tired of the bad quality it is on streaming music (and downloads).. and this is the future of music...
Anyway, glad it isn't the Never Land demo they'd put on the record, and I'm really looking forward to have those CDs in my hands. :P :)

We're probably gonna buy them anyway, so no skin off anyone's nose.

But what - I suppose - most of us wanna know is:

Has the damage really been undone on FALAA?

The "Full Version" of Never Land smells like a "DJ extended version" (i.e., just repeat a few of the instrumental parts a few times)

The sort of thing I, or indeed most people with half-decent software, could knock up for most songs in a few minutes. :urff:

Prove me wrong. Please. :\

To me the whole thing is smelling of a rip-off. The version of Neverland sounded more like a demo, but its hard to tell from such a short snippet. I half expect the version of SKOS to be the same.
I don't necessarily agree with everything I think.
