Baby finger on the trigger baby shot formaldehyde ~Anaconda

but if it is correct you must put a new pic ;D :notworthy:

iesus - seems like a good answer...

but if not, then my guess is "get ahead, go figure, go ahead and pull the trigger"

Though actually, stufarq's clues are normally somewhat cryptic and the real answer probably doesn't have anything to do with guns...

Well it's not, so there! But it's getting closer to the right sort of thing.

Not as warm as iesus. This one's less cryptic than my usual. And I specifically chose that film rather than just anyone with a gun.

No idea what the film is, but I'm going to guess "come feel the arms around you." - Arms

No, you're going way off target now.

Although it might help you get there quicker, you don't need to know what the film is. (It's Leon, by the way.) I just meant that film had specifically what I wanted for the picture. Look at the two people. One in particular. It's not what you'd expect to see.

I think I know this, but as I've done two of the last four I'll let someone else have a go.

Nikolas is so close it hurts.

 Haha, but no. I meant more the philosophical underpinning of that cosmology than the planets specifically.

Then my guess might be wrong. No-one else has said it yet, although the song has come up.

It might be the era that is close and the direction, i am not sure if it is train. There was no hint for the song :)

That's a good guess too.

A hint: the picture depicts Aristotle's natural motions of elements and celestial bodies.

Well, as guesses seem to be drying up, I might as well at least try mine - although I'm now pretty certain it's wrong. Anyway, it's

not my stupid turn killing the game. It's not YCBTO either.

Heavenly bodies was a clue. All celestial bodies, as well as other bodies composed of elements like fire and earth, have by their nature certain motions, and locations to which they must predictably travel.

Oh, now I see why the other guesses were so close! Is it

Everybody got a destination

by centurionofprix
Correct!

(The riddle could've loosely included the four lines Far beyond the black horizon / beyond the things you know / everybody got a destination / everybody got a place to go but just beyond the things you know lacked the idea I wanted.)
