Six gigs on 3rd March over the years. I can't be bothered to trawl back through 8 months of posts, but I think this is the busiest date in Sisters gigging history.

1991, San Sebastian, Space https://sisterswiki.org/Sun,_03-Mar-1991

2001, Munich https://sisterswiki.org/Sat,_03-Mar-2001

2006, Orlando, Florida https://sisterswiki.org/Fri,_03-Mar-2006

2009, Gasometer, Vienna https://sisterswiki.org/Tue,_03-Mar-2009

Preserved forever as the probably the finest (audio) record of the classic line-up live. Pisses all over The RAH gig and al the fabulous soundboards of the european leg of the tour (stockolm, milan etc) because Marx is on it as well. i f**king LOVE the way the tempo of the Doktor gets turned up at the start of FALAA -amphetamines were clearly working well that night. :von:

Pity as I tried listening to the copy I had of the show. If this is the only source, it was unlistenable. I scrapped it before getting to those two.

March 18th has three known shows:

1985, Hull https://sisterswiki.org/Mon,_18-Mar-1985

2006, Anaheim https://sisterswiki.org/Sat,_18-Mar-2006

2016, Tilburg https://sisterswiki.org/Fri,_18-Mar-2016

Only known source, security was insane - no idea why but there were police on the door too..
I was taking pictures but ran out of film before :von: came out for the encores in a textbook fashion atrocity which hasn't appeared since.

Seems that the Hastings gig is now a bit closer to being confirmed as a definite:

******* Gig confirmed ! but the exact place is "Hastings Rumours" ? ******* Thanks to a testimony from a contact of Robin. Thank you very much Robin ;)
"Hi Robin, sorry for the sluggish reply. I'm afraid I've got almost no information for you. I'm not a huge Sisters of Mercy fan and was just there because it was on; all I remember was an amazing Jolene. And I didn't see them again for another thirty five years, when they played a festival in Portugal, where I now live. Sorry not to be more help..."
Robin last information : "I did speak with someone else who worked on the door in later years and he thought it was called "Rumours" until 1984 when it changed it's name to the "Crypt" "
