I believe there was a certain Claire present (not you, Claire, a certain other Claire), but didn't see her on stage.

I just thought of another positive for the great crowd that night.
Me and Blackie (my wife) were right down front and chatted now and then with another couple. At the end of the gig they were hunting around for his PDA/smartphone that was lost, and of course worried it was either nabbed by someone or moshed to pieces.
Not so, a kind soul had handed it in to security, so all was well. Nice to hear when honesty prevails.

My wee review-A great start with Keith and Steve over, couldn't work out why no one was in the Dry Dock until I checked my watch, it was only
5:24!
QB - my buttons are bigger than yours and hail my T-Shirt!
A few beers and then off to the Met-missed
Screaming Bamboo Potted Plant Panda but no one was crying.
Salvation were tight with a hell of a die hard following. Keith was in 7nth Heaven! (we'll get that
full set of autographs yet)
James Ray had a few technical difficulties but he is one hell of a showman, and talking to him later with Keith, a very funny guy.
Chris Reed was awsome, I expected Blow but the other RLYL tracks were a bonus. His voice is f**king awsome.
The
Violets were ace, can't believe it's been 25 years-they played really well together and the banter was top notch.
As well as seeing some familiar faces I got to meet a few more peeps in the flesh-
Koen,
Maisey,
Ness and
Libby amongst others (I've remembered Ian's recommendation and will look those whores up!).
I wished I could have spent more time with everybody but there are only so many minutes in an hour and they whizz past once you've been above the chemist.
A special shout to my Dawnrazor peeps-old & new-always a pleasure and need to do it again!
There was a guy wearing a T-Shirt that said 'Real Goths Are Old', maybe, but some really should know better...
As we were leaving I heard someone say "I know you from somewhere"-it was Chris Catalyst and we reminicist about meeting in Rios-(another trip above the chemist) and talked about Chris Reed. The man has taste (obviously).
Home for tea of various kinds and 'The End' by GMM.
Another excellent shindig.

Complimented Chris Catalyst on his little "technique", demonstrated at the Glasgow gig, of nodding his sunglasses off the top of his head onto his nose. I was truly impressed by that one.
Told me it took hours of practice in the mirror!

Chris Catalyst bumped into mrs fiend and was all like "oh, hi, how are you?" and stuff, (remembering her back from the Joseph's Well days) while several goffik girlies were looking on obviously jealous as hell
