Tickets for Box office collection - been told these can be picked up from
7pm tomorrow
Support band - usually on around 8pm
Headline - usually on around 9pm, though "times approximate and are decided by the artiste on the night"
Gigs normally finish between 10.30 and 11pm
Just in case this is useful to anyone planning transport etc.
very helpful!
anyone know if theres a cloakroom in the assembly? (to store my cloak, obv!)
Re cheap rooms etc

Have you checked TJs and the Travellodge in the town centre for cheap rooms? I would be surprised if travel lodge (regent hotel) wouldn't negotiate down to £40 or less at this late stage. TJs is closer, but neither are far away - and there are loads of B&Bs in Spencer Street/Avenue Road (the same road as the venue, a bit further out from town) the tourist info for leamington might have something or a good hour of googling should turn something up.
I know there are bike lockers at the rail station and perhaps you could get one of those as its not commuting time - you might have to bring your own padlock.
I am sure someone will be up for late-night tea (?) drinking until 6am - I might well be in that state.. ask about at the robbins well beforehand..
I can't think of much else but there is a community centre thing at the Leamington old library that used to be bath place community centre, if you get there in the day they might agree to bag storage..
if you are really stuck the Hope Tavern is a bit of an alkie/low rent pub but they do have rooms above that they let out if people are too drunk to go home. I think the rooms might be very cash in hand, but though it can be a bit dodgy and drunk famiilies arging, I would say its safe... ish!
Their number is (I think) 01926426037
Yes to cloakroom

thomas james? the hotel? i'm confused....
we're due into leamington on the train about 3.40ish, and we're staying at the thomas james, so i assumed we'd wander down there, check in, freshen up and then head out to meet up
does the hotel have a public bar then?

Aye - TJ's is downstairs.
Although I've no idea what the ambience will be like on a Tuesday afternoon. We'll head up town if it's sh1te.

Hello - I am very disappointed to report that the Robbins Well have MASSIVELY let us down - they are now closing the downstairs and weren't going to tell me - I only found out a possible wobble yesterday and now its a biggy. I still expect to be able to get control of music upstairs as a concession, so that people who have arranged to meet can get the right flavour.
The after-party will now move to
Kelsey's (luckily on the map above!) which can stay open until 3 if its busy enough (2am is the usual tuesday night..)
My many apologies and shame at Leaminton's hickness over this...
