Looks like you had a very good night again, @Johnny. Did OK myself with 47 points from the three who are staying in the line-up and seem to have lifted me to third. Am expecting a fight back from @iesus tomorrow though.

hmm. poor night. robben rubbish, schneider out at last minute - i had subs but they are playing tonight. lots to play for still.

even though i heard last minute that schneider was out i couldn't get to a pc and swap him, and i've no subs. 1 argentinian and 7 germans to rely on tonight. to be honest i'm resigned to finishing 10th as that's where i've spent most of the tournament.

Just walked 15mins to the train station to buy some cigs, skirting the edges of my town centre, and it's kinda weird.

♫ There's a kind of hush... ♫

It's almost palpable. You can almost breathe the tension and expectation in the air.

I can smell the BBQs starting up now, but there's also this stillness. No traffic, no noise.

It's very Twilight Zone-ish. :von:

Yes, really well played Johnny.

You showed that you've got to understand the quirks of the rules from the first minute and thoroughly deserved your convincing victory.

Congrats to the top three and especially @Johnny. Thanks too for organising the league which has added an extra dimension to what was already a fantastic World Cup. I seem to have ended up on 666 points ! :innocent:
