Okay, this one's particularly cryptic! I'll be impressed if anyone gets it without at least one clue, but let's see how you go first.
You are surprisingly close! You may have worked out the first part of the puzzle, but not the second, which leads to the actual line. (However, as it's ridiculously cryptic, if no-one manages to fathom my convoluted reasoning, this should be good enough to count as a win. What led you to that answer?)iesus wrote:I 'll take a first try

Lost all sense of the world outside" ~NWN
Right icon. I wasn't thinking of lipstick, but "close all". Close all what? The answer might suggest a literary reference, which in turn should suggest the line. (Told you it was convoluted!)iesus wrote:The icon on CloseAll reminded me lipstick and as a programmer/analyst the whole window was a close enough image of window pane style. Also the noicon, closeall readme was a kind of closure feel in distinct mark of the outside world. NWN was definetly first candidate for me
It's the icon for Close all Windows. Which might suggest the poem Now Close the Windows, by Robert Frost. Which could be described as a poem by, ahem, Frost upon the window pane.centurionofprix wrote:I'm still drawing a blank for the reference -- all windows? Programs? Things even? How frustrating! (in the good way)
You are therefore correct, sir.iesus wrote:it must be then the other window pane reference in ~NWN
"Frost upon the window pane
Nine while nine and I'm waiting
For the train"
correct ?

You really shouldn't let me do any more of these.
