Here's another one for Americans, I think.
I found a pic with the guy's name on it so ROTW folk can figure it out too:

Although "run" might be more appropriate.
I'm going to give it to you for Gimme Shelter anyway, cos it's a better guess.

Nicely done, Nic.
Sargeant Barry McCaffrey was Pres. Clinton's "Drug Czar" responsible for prosecuting the so-called "War On Drugs" during the '90s.
Bastard. He's almost universally reviled for stocking American prisons with non-violent drug offenders, some locked up for life for possession of cocaine or crack. Of course, the Bush 41 and Bush 43 "Czars" were worse, but few people recognize them. This guy is pretty well known (here).
Your turn, then.

Bismarck lives in New York, so is just arriving at the office right now.
This Corrosion is not correct, but play on anyway. Good to have a few going at the same time.
Any other guesses?

Sandstorm
because that totally pointless annihilation happened on the road to bagdad during desert storm, which as far as I know isn’t a type of pudding but is a place where you find sand

Well, Sandstorm isn't what I had in mind... pointless annihilation with bombs... on a road... come on, guys. (by the way, good spotting The Highway Of Death there, PiB).

Of course, that's correct Lucien. So now the *enormous* pressure of playing a silly on-line game is bearing down upon you... yes, YOU!
