After running this forum for many years, the time has come to look at what more it can do as currently....

1. There are only around 20 regular contributors out of +2000 registered users
2. It provides little value other than some genuine folks who want to use it for it's intention - and a group of folks who use it for nothing more than to create flame posts and try to feel better about themselves by being inflammatory or similar to others.

After several conversations with folks at MWIS we are shutting the forum down from 1 October 2010. It seems pointless keeping a once thriving community reduced to a handful of people that could be served elsewhere.

Thanks to those that contributed.

.:Paul:.

youch. that surprises me.

regardless of how i feel about the band, i imagined their fanbase was as ardent and as chatty ;) as the sissies' fans :| :innocent:

Fücking hell, it gets better and better. On my way home from work I hit a pedestrian. :urff: :urff: :urff:

She just ran out in front of me. She wasn't really hurt (just bruised -- I clipped her hip with my wing-mirror is all) but still.

Fück.

That's a bugger - wing-mirrors can be spendy things to replace. Hope you got her details so you can send her the bill.

Mother is going worse by the moment, refusing food or drinks. At this rate the doctors give her only a couple of days, maybe weeks.

Not all that unexpected o course, still not a happy time here chez IZ and Dad IZ HQs. :|

OMG Mark! One of those days you should have stayed in bed. Shame man, have a good stiff drink tonight and work through the images and feelings. Strength to the nerves.

@ IZ ~ *double hug* That must be the worst feeling in the world. Loads of strength to you and your mum!

No I didn't hit her hard enough to actually lose the mirror, it just folded back against the door. No damage done to either her or the car, just my frazzled nerves.

Thanks for the hugs Debs  I polished off a bottle of wine to myself. (A bloody good one too ;D)

And more hugs to IZ. Sh!t man...

You and your family will be in my mind.

My (minor in comparison) stress element today was that my flight tomorrow's been cancelled. Luckily I managed to sort an alternative flight, so I'll get to where I have to be, only 12hrs later :)
