Newsworthy continued: EEEEEEEENINp'ts!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I sincerely hope that this is someone stealing from The Onion... then again, there's that time an American school fired a teacher because he used the word "homophone".

It's a nice though, but we're dealing with merkins here. Some of them are lovely people; others...

...well, there's a legend that the reason that some states didn't adopt daylight saving was that the farmers didn't think that their livestock could deal with the extra hour of daylight.

In this case, gentlemen, it was a comment made by one idiot at a town meeting, and then subsequently blown out of proportion. The reason the solar farm zoning request was denied was concern about home values should land zoned for agricultural use be re-zoned for manufacturing use.

To be fair, if it's dark and the driver has really bad night vision or something.. I can only imagine the shock they must've had, meeting a wall where they thought there wouldn't be one!

Just been reading about how the York flood barrier was actually opened to avoid an electrical incident.
Sure Cameron's going to get a warm welcome up there today......not.
Be safe everyone.

If immediate public reaction is, "What the hell have they done?", Your restoration technique might need a bit of tweaking

You know you're on your way to an architecture prize when even Soviet brutalism looks tasteful in comparison.

I know. Let's hold an open internet vote to decide the name of our new £200 million research ship. What could possibly go wrong?
