Batman The Animated Series.
Wonderfully stylised.

Is anyone watching London Spy?

On Sunday I finally went to see SPECTRE.
I like it.
Plot was thicker than cheese gravy - two and a half hours of movie is understandable. Main social-problem, after Paris, is relevant as never before, however we lost that battle long tie ago, when we first used FB, when we first bought smartphone.
Even that ending (but not that part about "License to kill is also license not to kill"; however it was good itself), that romantic one, was for some kind of meh, yet it was expected if you look back at every movies from that part of series.
Even that it looks like an end of that part of series (not so sure taking end), I'd like to see another Bond with Craig directed by Mendes.
I liked comedy parts, joke about Bond car.

I enjoyed it too, but he seems to trash the decent cars ever so quickly.
I did also like the nod to vintage Bond where the "special added extras" in the "£3.5m prototype" DB10 were operated by those clunky lever switches labeled with Dymo labels.

I notice that, it was nice.
Like it was nice to see watch-time-bomb again. Watch with laser are good for comics and 9 years old kid.
I have difficulty to judge/make opinion about JB movies and comparing its to other non-Bond movie; I can do that only in Bond Universe.

episode 9 of
american horror story hotel: ahead of uk viewers by a week and free as diahorrea thanks to those resourceful scamps at
ThePirateBay.
as a huge fan of Our Lady of Gaga, i would maybe, but probably not, have gotten round to watching this one day, as i didnt expect much from it; however after
Pista's recommendatiom (thanks
Steve!) i had a look and loved it.
it's so gory and completely a p*ss-taking pastich of the genre, with sex and cool music -including The Girls- that it would be utterly watchable without Gaga, but she definitely steals it IMO.
it doesnt surprise me that she can act as she is a genuinely talented all-round performer, but she can
fucking act man. she is so beautifully captivating to watch anyway but her character -both the Countess and the pre-vampire wanna-be starlet- is utterly beleivable.
we already know (as not-goths honest) that being turned into a vampire would be hard to turn down -when offered by a proper vampire, not some saddo who drinks sheeps blood and files their teeth- but Gaga would be welcome to pick me up off the street just to drink me dry (fnarr fnarr). fabulous programme, love it.

The finale of Jessica Jones. What a show. What a show. Daredevil was pretty s**t for the hype that surrounded it, but this show? It's great. The ratio of wow vs. flaws is excellent.

I have that cued up while Gotham & The Walking Dead appear to be on a xmas break
@Lee
It's a bit spesh innit? I was kind of worried how the anthology would continue without Jessica Lange, but Gaga nailed it I think

i havent seen any of the previous series, in fact i hadnt even heard of it before this. so they're worth a look as well then?
and yes, Gaga is amazing. it will be intersting to see which direction her career goes in now, as although her last album didnt go down as well as the previous ones they were phenomenally successful. her last world tour grossed a ridiculous amount of money as well so i'm hopeful her music, being her first love, will remain her priority. to be honest she's now in a positon where she can do what she wants i'd have thought.

I think they are. & you don't even need to watch them in order either. Each series is a stand alone story.
The only one I wasn't too keen on was Coven, but I think that was more because they ruined it with a Stevie Nicks cameo for no apparent reason other than it gave them a chance to have her play Seven Wonders which happened to be the title of an episode.
I'd start with Asylum. That was awesome

Aye, that's the one.
SyFy did 3 x 2 hour episodes & it was awesome.
Some slight differences to the book, but didn't spoil it at all.

just sat and watched the 10th episode -which i thought was the last- of american horror story hotel......except it isn't the last. the sneaky bastards, there's (at least) 2 more in the new year. grrrrrrr: far too long to wait.
no spoilers except that The Sisters feature in the soundtrack again with a large chunk of Lucretia. a few more $$'s in Eldritch's back-pocket, which is nice.

The Librarians has charmed me into watching its second season. It's silly and ridiculous, but kinda nice, and the closest the 'mericans will get to Doctor Who, I think.

And this is where I play my "foreigner" card. I know what the individual words mean, but the sentence eludes me...

"tat and coke" sounds like "hat and coat"
"get your coat you've pulled" is a kind of joke chat up line
Does that explain it?

Yesterday, finally,
plot itself, maybe without what happened under Minnie's haberdashery, was extremly predictable, not that Q.T. tired to hide it, but that's not what movie is about. I guess that this is first Tarantino's movie that is about social and political condition of American society and history. Strong stuff.
