On a slightly less in depth post from ones above, I like it because it sounds nothing like The Sisters.
Those ridiculous tribute albums that I'm sure we all own are (apart from a version of Floorshow that I think rocks) laughable.

At least its different.

Oh yes, I've seen Nouvelle Vague on stage once, with that singer in her lookthrough dress They were more rock'n 'roll than loads of other bands and they DID put up one hell of a gig.

as i conceded at the end of my last post i am all for people doing "joke" versions of other people's "sacred cows" with the result (intentionally or otherwise) being the irritation of said other people. i still don't have to like the version. buck satan's country & western version of "too drunk to fuck", for example, is abyssmal and i love the dead kennedys.
