Noone in Group A or B, hopefully. Especially B (England, Paraguay, Sweden, Trinidad) has today shown us how depressive football can be.
What a relief to watch Argentine-Ivory Coast in group C tonight, those two teams deserve to go far!

I'm just as ashamed as the England team should be. What the fukc, 0-0 against TT.
We have a s**t team. You should have read the newspapers here before the match. "Sweden will win with 3 or 4 goals". Ha!
Hopefully we can beat England though. We haven't lost against them since 1957 (I think).

I am
loooving DarkAngel's handbag pic.
If I may derail the futbol thread into the realm of rugby (but staying with the handbag theme), this story had me pissing myself...
All Black rugby player Chris Masoe has been fined 3000 New Zealand dollars for his part in a barroom scuffle early on Sunday morning.
The incident ended when Masoe was hit over the head with a woman’s handbag by former New Zealand captain Tana Umaga.
Umaga escaped penalty over the incident which occurred early Sunday morning, after the Super 14 final between the Crusaders and the Hurricanes.
Eyewitnesses said Masoe punched a patron in the face at a bar in the South Island city of Christchurch and was immediately punished by Umaga, who grabbed a women’s purse and hit him on the head.
The tough All Blacks flanker then burst into tears and had to be calmed before being escorted from the bar by Umaga and a female bouncer.
Wellington Hurricanes management and the New Zealand Rugby Union found Masoe had breached serious misconduct provisions of his employment contract.
“I accept that it was totally inappropriate to behave the way I did and regret that it happened, Masoe told the Associated Press. “I again would like to apologize for any offense my actions may have caused.
Umaga’s role in the incident was also investigated. The New Zealand union found he had acted to defuse the situation and had no charge to answer.

You mispronounced "ENGERLAND".
...I think you'll find it's "In-Ger-Land". Now go practice in your bedroom, with no supper.
Sweden? Do me a favour. Leeds flop Teddy Lucic in defence? Get real.

Been watching bits of Ghana vs Italy. My dad and I both knew Italy would win, but that didn't make us any less disappointed when Ghana were defeated 2-0. They put up such a fight, I thought they'd have conceded more goals, but they kept on going.

Unless we show some guts and passion, then I want the Czechs to win.
The game against Paraguay showed how cocking boring Sven is. If we get to play Brazil again he'll try to out tactic them. Bollox to tactics, you need them a little sure, but you need guts, passion and risks in the mix.
Rosicky's first goal tonight was awesome. Brazil v Czech Rep is a game I'd like to see.

I should've bought Olive Oil then, you could get a refund if you bought Bertolli oil today and they'd win the game
