A Merciful Release - So Will You Buy It?

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Will you buy "A Merciful Release"?

is there a zuma offer on this one?
I like these calm little moments before the storm. It reminds me of Beethoven. Can you hear it? It's like when you put your head to the grass and you can hear the growin' and you can hear the insects.

I was pathetically happy when the Amazon package greeted me on my return home this evening.

Very pleased I didn't buy the re-issues indivudually.

All I have to do is remember to bring my ipod home from work, create a playlist without 'You Could Be The One' on and 2.5 hours will fly by.

<listens to Floodland>

I know you all discussed this some time ago but *heavens* isn't Neverland (full length) some track. It seems they originally edited it by removing the best bits. A very pleasent surpise indeed.

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Ack. Ordered from 101cd, £17.45 shipped to the US. And now the status is "Item on Order with Supplier" which doesn't sound good to me .

Anyone have experience with 101cd? This is the first time I ordered from them. The reviews at dooyoo are all over the place.

Probably shouldn't have jumped the gun, as it's now available in the US. :( [/url]

First time I ordered from them the product arrived within a week, second time it took a month.

Luck of the draw methinks :(

:notworthy: You will fit in well among some of us. Watch out for the graphics guy with the knives, though.

ADDED LATER: Yes, without reading further in the thread before posting the above, I knew what to expect. ;D

I will track both of you down, incapacitate you, tie you to a comfy sofa and play that tune at you...
... until you repent

Oh god... that sounds horrible

I have to agree that YCBTO is without doubt a shocking aberration on the Sissies landscape. There is irony and there is just bad. ~Sorry~

Anyone notice the following at the above link (emphasis added)?

2007 boxed anthology of the 3 digitally remastered Sisters Of Mercy albums that were recorded for the EastWest label. The title of the set says it all, as Andrew Eldritch and his group had ceased recording for a number of years. In the wake of their signing to a different label, EastWest/Rhino marked the departure with this special package for their fervent fanbase. Each of the albums has the special bonus tracks that were included on their remastered reissues.

Yeah I'll buy this box cause I did't spent my money for the first single-disc re-releases so far, so this is my chance...
