WELCOME, SO YOU CAME! NEPHILIM CONFIRM SHOW

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Indeed, one titled 'Theads of the Nephilim', or so I heard. ;D Regarding pre (and after) gig drinks, I thought the Dawnrazor Crew had settled on The Intrepid Fox. Then again, I could be as mistaken as other people are when they're designing t- shirts...

I have absolutely nae probs with the design whatsoever and do think the jobs a good un, it's just that as a designer (by day) I do know the pitfalls when it comes to commercial printing.

Autotrace Dave, kinda does what it says, ie. traces over a bitmap image and is a very useful tool, it does have its limitations 'tho.

can we all go for a pint now and get destroyed? ;D
bullsh*t pmt's is a Watney's Red Barrel BTW :innocent:

Even though Elysium was FotNs finest hour, and I consider everything else that Carl has released since then is a pile of poo, I'll still be there pretending I am back in 1987!

I was also told over the weekend that NFD are banned from the show, and Carl will walk off if he spots any of them! So, I shall be wearing my NFD t-shirt with pride!

So you're willing to risk spoiling it for everyone else? ;)

Seriously though, do check out Mourning Sun, it's fantastic.

Excuse me for not knowing anything about FOTN or NFD... why doesn't Carl not like NFD?

They used to be in "his band" and left.

It has echoes of the whole Sisters / Miss'ion split.

I'm being perfectly honest when I say I prefer Fallen and Zoon, I came late to them after giving Dawnrazor and The Nephilim a hammering till Elizium came along. I'm really quite bored of them now and saying you like them to a Neffhead is similar to the reaction Vision Thing and YCBTO get here.

If Carl over-reacts to me wearing a t-shirt of my favorite band, then it'll show everybody what a twit he really is!

I do already have Mourning Sun. It is currently being used as beer mat!

I kinda get the impression that Carl and his merry gang of session musicians are really trying to create an epic with every song, thus turning the album into a very droning and mindless piece of work. And that unbearable version of 2525 really does top it all!

Still, its just an opinion!

exactly :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

they've forgotten how to do 3 minute pop songs.

not EVERY song has to sound like it came from a film...

nfd make a much groovier noise these days, IMHO.
