He's not a religious nut you douchebag. He's a mentally deranged DORK with no friends who developed a persecution complex. He's a narcissist, not a religious nut. Its narcisissmi plus nerdrage plus mental derangement. But thats allright, keep reading your own prejudices into this tragedie.

Jolly good. Will do. I'm always happy to listen patiently to someone who uses insults instead of argument.
By the way, I'd be more tempted to diagnose it as acute depression tending towards psychosis, further complicated by narcissistic rage rather than this "DORK ... nerd rage" you claim (I wouldn't want to impose anti-nerd prejudices onto this tragedy - that would be crass).
Obviously none of this prevents him from also being a religious nut, but then that wasn't the
point of my post above.

Wikipedia, via our friend Google wrote:A douche (IPA: [du:?]) is a device used to introduce a stream of water into the body for medical or hygienic reasons, or the stream of water itself. The word comes from the French language, in which its principal meaning is a shower (it is thus a notorious false friend encountered by non-native speakers of English; the phrase for vaginal douching is douche vaginale).
The word can refer to the rinsing of any body cavity but usually applies to vaginal irrigation, rinsing of the vagina. A douche bag is a piece of equipment for douching: a bag for holding the water or fluid used in douching (the term douche bag can also be used as an insult; see below for slang uses). To avoid transferring intestinal bacteria into the vagina, the same bag must not be used for a vaginal douche and an enema.
so there ye go Missus

You know the rules, James:
Heartland Rule #635 (para 7): When someone starts throwing insults at other Heartland members then the thread is considered closed and may be derailed with impunity.

The HL equilvalent to a shopping trolley on the line strikes again...
Do take a chill pill, you moany gits
. If you want to re-rail then go ahead and do so, I don't ever go off at a tangent with the intent of f**king up someone's conversation
I've said this before but when people are talking in
Real Life (tm), the subject does change, people do go off from the original thing they were talking about. Unless they are very strange indeed, and spend their enitre life talking about one single thing. The conversation is fluid, it moves on... and no-one sits going "ooh, but it was decided 20 minutes ago that we were talking about THIS and only THIS".
The naturalness (is that actually a word?) of the way people communicate on HL is part of what makes it so special
If you want a forum where people are going to be all anal and snooty about what people discuss and where, you'll find they consititute about 99% of the internet. People just post their little opinion and go, there is no genuine interaction.
In short,
arse biscuits.

I was going to quote a bit of the post and second it but as it's all spot on I thought I'd just do the lot. Sometimes I'll find the wanderings on a thread to be better than the original thread and sometimes just watching the way it's gradually toddled off is quite funny.
The other point, of course, is that with there being so long since "new material" I'm guessing most people have had the conversations time over and that leaves the 'everything else' to hold the place together. It's real and it's to be applauded.
On the topic, though, I'd just mention the gunman who's killed a hostage and himself in a shooting spree in NASA's headquarters in Houston. As fast as one shooting happens the next seems, sadly, not that far behind.....

Sadly not - they also found another hostage tied up but unhurt. You really don't need to hear another news report starting with "There are reports of shots being fired at......"
