just something I learned today

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

It's like wireless, only less difficult and more reliable. But I'm still lost on exactly 'how' it works.

Hmm. Bluetooth's apparently enabled and "on" right now, on this 'puter...but I have no idea what the hell it's doing, if anything. :innocent:

As far as I can ascertain my laptop doesn't seem to have Bluetooth installed ... although a wee blue Bluetooth icon lights up on the keyboard when I turn it on. :?

That "wheat" comes from the same root word as "white".

I guess this shouldn't come as a surprise to any continental drinkers of Weißbier / witbier.

Shamelessly nicked from Terry Pratchett's The Unadulterated Cat

Plus, that annoying background music! Any web designer that employs a background midi should be shot. [adblock *.mid]

Was going to say the very same (about Pratchett of course, not that webdesign lingo. Can't divide by zero etc).

A must read, that book, even for non-cat-lovers. ESPECIALLY for non-cat-lovers
