We're still trying to be festive, but mum's in a s**t mood. Oh well, off to my sister's for dinner in a bit. I'll see you when the alcohol's left my body.
Happy christmas to all the Heartlanders.

St. Aloysius, Glasgow does a sterling one (if I do say so myself as an alumni of the attached - and I do mean attached - educational establishment)... we're talking a carol service that leaves Songs Of Praise in the cold (not hard, over-harmonised trumpet laden crap that it is), cathedral-sized "chapel" , they even had a piece by Arvo Part the two years ago. Enough to give me a Catholic relapse for an hour and a half ;D
Aye, that were a good yin (my last Xmas was spent on the other side of the borders), and their Easter's a belter tae :D
Well Gaudete and Arvo Part were sung, and I even saw you in there

Joyous felicitations to you and yours, whether you'll be bigging up your Yule or seeing out a late winter solstice.

Oh, you should have said hi (if you could have, with the stampede that always occurs on the way out).

I loved that "Google is a modern-day angel" homily  :notworthy: Ecclesiastic-tastic!

I prefer the expression half-time Tim which correctly surmises the number of times out of the possible total that I've been to Mass this year  :D
