I vote for the Batmobile, anyway, as I loathe The Simpsons, and always have. ;D

Have to say The Simpsons kinda went off the boil after th 5th season, but there are some gems still & the movie made me laugh a lot.
Still have to go with the Batmobile though (although a remote control Dalek is going to beat that one in top trumps easy peasy)

I got this today, for £40. This for £5, and finally this second-hand for £13. Oh, and a bondagey red-and-black jumper for a tenner.

See, my relatives all sent money because I didn't know what to ask for. And this is a good advert for doing that. I'm dead fuckin' chuffed. ;D

DVDs: Escape From New York, Excalibur and Ghostbusters.

A bonsai Golden Larch from my parents (coz I'm a forester and countryside manager so I simply must have a mini-tree in my office. And they'd be right).

A very swanky True Utility windproof lighter.

A collapsible shovel (just in case I get the Landy or the car stuck).

Some firelighting paper (see above).

One of those saws-on-a-string (see above).

Hair clippers.

Roe Deer: Management and Stalking by R. Prior.

Management of Deer & Their Habitat: Principles & Methods by A. De Nahlik.

Falconry: Care, Captive Breeding & Conservation by J. Parry-Jones.

I've got both of them, the chapter on Red Deer in the latter is a bit basic but quite a good read.
Have you read Paul Van Vligen's book on Red Deer, he manged Letterewe for year and really knew his subject, the management of Highland Red Deer is close to my heart

Haven't managed to get my nose stuck into either just yet, I gave them a brief scan (I've got more roe than red to deal with in my woods and a sneaking suspicion that I may have some muntjac as well. Bloody Victorian and Georgian landowners, bringing back non-native animals that cause silly amounts of habitat destruction...grrrr, mutter, moan).

You don't mean Paul van Vlissengen? I know he wrote, or commissioned, a report on highland deer management, but can't remember the title off the top of my head. I'm also trying to get my hands on a copy of Fraser's "A Herd of Red Deer."
