Hey, you ask a question, someone will eventually give you an answer...

Does anyone know if The Sisters of Mercy have a manager we could contact. While your at it does anyone know about how to contact Julianne Regan, The m*****n, The Fields of the Nephilim, Alien Sex Fiend or anyone else? You don't have to give me specific phone numbers live on air, just the names of their managers or record companies will do.

Thanks in advance.

is it just me or is this the most amusing post of the year?
Yeah! Dunno what's funnier; the idea of AE turning up at a goff event or the idea that the Sisters have a record company...

not just a goth event - think whitby, think saturday night at rock city- but a goth exhibition "(think Ideal Home Exhibition but for Goths) "!! :urff:
however,to use the large soft object between my ears (no, not my nose), founding member of the sisters, gary marx is contacatble directly (or very close to) at info@garymarx.com.
new model army are contactable at info@newmodelarmy.org, likewise poet and artist joolz at joolz@joolz.net or by post at:
Castle Dragonbat,
PO Box 162,
Bradford,
West Yorkshire,
BD3 8PY,
UK.

other (first generation) goth notaries such as siouxsie/robert smith are on major labels, so in the unlikely event of them having no contact links on their respective websites would be accessible through the A&R peeps at their record companies.

>>>>thinks....perchance "black-saturn" would benefit from a person in charge of the company brain-cell officer. my fee (which would , im sure, reflect the quality of service) would be almost as modest as my good self.
not joking. 8)

Try getting in touch with Wayne, he seems to enjoy flying the black flag.

black flag implies apolitical politics ie. anarchism. never thought of the m*****n as anarchists. certainly getting the arses with the sisters/erstwhile mish crew for muti-band-employment isn't very anarcho-syndicalist.

is it just me or does "the m*****n" imply an action one is ordered to do regardless of personal choice (DRIVEN).....
whereas the ministering of an act of mercy -as a gift- is a vocation, a voluntary calling you willingly undertake (DRIVE) ?*

I got what you meant Rob.

@Black-Saturn

I suggest you don't waste your time with the 80's monsters. All of them are wonderfully fab artists, its very true - but they don't do stuff like you have in mind to organise.

I suggest you try contempary gothic bands, especially those based in London. They are a million times more likely to give you the time of day - as it benefits them to work with you, because when you are an active band any exposure is helpful. They may even play sets etc. If you want suggestions for bands I would be happy to help, but otherwise just research the London goth scene.

The first place you should start is talking to Frank at Flag Promotions. He is in contact with nearly ALL currently touring and gigging goth and industrial bands, including most big names - he puts on nearly all the london gigs.

I hope that helps.

The easiest way to ensure Von won't turn up is to append the words "G***" to anything.
