I've noticed that, too. But I don't doubt that they're playing, cause it is feasible: They'll catch a direct flight home and gain two hours because Bulgaria is 2 hours ahead of Britain.
if they do that fast enough they can play without any1 noticing it..
that's pro'lly why nothing is announced on their site..

To be honest, after the excellence of the Tienen gig, it is well worth the risk (and if not, a relaxing holiday with a few good books).
Thanks for the local type's various input on Bourgas side advice, btw.

Congrats on a top gig. You are all so lucky to be 'near' comparatively.
I wish I could get up there....
I may have to convince them to come down here. If anyone has the power - try to convince TSOM that Melbourne is worth coming to PLEASE!!!!!!!

Hell, yes!!! The whole area is still Terra Incognita in terms of Sisters gigs. Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, China, Japan etc....
You get the promoters and the fans together, we'll envy you or invade your countries....
As somebody stated elsewhere: another place to cancel from the list of places I'd never visit weren't it for this band...

Just booked my travel and paid for it, soon after hearing that it definitely won't be possible to find a substitute for me at work on the Thursday before.
I now have 9 days to think of an excuse. Any innovative suggestions? - PMs please. (Family weddings, holy comunions and funerals have all been done before, I need more imagination this time I'm afraid).

Your grandpa's wooden leg was stolen a while ago, and according to the description given by the police of [insert name of a police station at least 100 miles from Burgas] they found one that has the right smell to it.
Good

Relax. I need some information first. Ms Daisy wants to know:
I don't have a clue what kind of work you do but 1) does your boss know you wanted to be off for that day? as in: did you ask it already? 2) What kind of employee are you / attitude do you have? A workhating lowlife office killer or a decent 'hurray for the company'? 3) How many times have you been away for events like these?
I will help you.

_emma_, having quite honestly injured my back recently while scaling the fence of my back garden and leaping majestically off the summer house into my garden (the injury resulting from a bad landing due to my blasted cat refusing to get out of the landing path, presumably too curious to see what, exactly, her "dad" was doing on the roof of the summer house in the first place), I can whole heartedly recommend the excuse of a "bad back". This being a largely, if only temporary, immobilising injury, it also prevents the ability to have to visit a doctor.
Although, as an earlier poster pointed out, if you have asked for the day off previously the sudden back injury may appear overly fortuitous.

@ all of you.
It's sorted now, I just took a deep breath and told the truth: I have to go and I will go, end of story. I know the date is very wrong from your point of view, but I have no influence on it, can't postpone the gig, and so I must be away on the 14th.
In reply I heard: Well OK OK, but Jesus, there are so many other famous great bands who play gigs on different dates, can't you just go and see a different band on a different day?

It's a totally different world, isn't it. The world of people who just do not understand it.

yes true:)
the band names are growing like crazy:)
maybe half of all these dj's and dancers will not come:)
its just a trick to catch more audience, or somewhere in the sun is a rich russian sponsor:PP but people here are really hungry for such events
hope only sisters can manage to swim in this weird mixture to the right scene
its only once in a lifetime for some of us

Not sure Von may necessarily be thrilled with the Burgas site's bio which veers dangerously into the "dark music" arena (and appears to include a typo contradicting their intended interpretation), but at least they have not fallen into the trap of of regurgitating old photo's (save Von's is pre-this year's Uncle Fester mode):

Just can't wait ...

I don't get MTV via DVB-T so no chance to watch this (maybe webstream, haven't checked this so far). Just for the case something special is going to appear (no I don't really expect that): can anybody record the broadcast?

Apparently The Sisters don't allow their gigs to be filmed, so don't expect too much.
