Thanks Bartek!
I see that play.com have now put it back to August 25th. Weird too that Amazon aren't listing it, they're normally first to jump on anything like this ( ).
It also seems plenty weird that the same record company is involved and that it's being released around the same time as the double pack. A knock-off best-of doesn't seem like a wise release decision in those circumstances, so it's either a mix up and the PC is the double pack, or the PC is Overbombing rebadged, or it's something entirely different.

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Just because I like useless things, I just picked up a copy of that 2 in 1 thing. It was cheap as f**k too (6 euro), so no reason at all to let it untouchedpaul wrote:Indeed, buying those is an utter and complete waste of money ...christophe wrote:a quick way to get rid of some stock that no one would buy?
The thing is ugly, there's no liner notes whatsoever and Vision Thing comes without the recent bonustracks... I really should start to develop a backbone one of these days

Pop "sisters" in the search box a click the "contains keyword" radio button and you'll get a small list of stuff they appear to have pressed....nothing seems to be on the list yet for Platinum though.
(pity it's not an official release of the Silence is Platinum bootleg...!!)
cheers

That wouldn't be unusual, they were very quiet about the last batch. Here's hoping.... (but not too much)

They should re-release all the albums on 180g virgin vinyls. The whole back-catalogue also.

Went to HMV today. They have the 2-in-1 down for Sept. 1st but nothing about the "Platinum Collection".
