Wasn't Marian a girl that used to live in Hamburg and that :von: once said to never play Marian in Hamburg?
Or did i dream this?

You are right - as far as I know did the Sisters never ever play that song in Hamburg. Neither in the 80ies, nor on the Vision Thing tour or later...

Aha, okay then....let's wait and see.

Any pre- or aftershow party / drinking planned for tonight? 8)

And if yes, where and when?

I think there is no final decision yet but from what I heard the following pubs are in consideration:

Lehmitz
Reeperbahn 22
http://www.reeperbahn-hamburg.com/lehmitz.htm
Guess this will be the place where the German Poison Door Forum will meet up.

Gretel und Alfons
Große Freiheit 29
http://www.gretelundalfons.de/
(As in 2001 and 2006...)

Molly Malone
Hans-Albers-Platz 15
http://www.molly-malone-hh.de/

All in walking distance from the venue.

To speak from my own experience it is hard to say in advance what kind of people will be around or how packed the pubs are. I therefore suggest to check one or two of the above and stay if it's pleasant. I think most people are connected by their mobiles so finding each other should be no problem, eh?

Lehmitz is not bad. Nearly right across the street from tonights venue, dirt cheap, with a jukebox and a place were Andrew was hanging out during his Hamburg days, too.

Where and at what time do the Heartlanders meet and decide where to go?

Any support band announced for tonight and when do they start?

According to
http://www.docks.de/
entry time is "tba". :urff:

Ticket says enty 8:00, beginning: 9:00.

According to
http://www.iliketrains.co.uk/
the support will be the above mentioned band (same as in Brussels).

incidentally, walking around the reeperbahn last night sure I saw Andrew, Chris & the guy from the merch stand walking around... Was going to say hello but decided to keep a polite distance, that and the fact that the girls on the street kept delaying me!
They stopped for a look in the guns and swords shop! Somethings never change....
