I may very well be wrong but aren't all The Sisters song in A? I know I just read an interview where Eldritch said he could only sing in the key of A.

Anyway... all Sisters songs do revolve within a limited range of tone.
Also, more often talks his lyrics than sings them. It is somewhat
the same with the band Curve and singer Toni Halliday... that is why
they strike me as rather similar to the Sisters. I have often thought
of Ms. Halliday as the female .

depends on the context - curve 1 is just silly, and yet, space is thing is also silly - which i noted two days ago

I like "there is a thing that I don't know"--it's simple -a childs sing -songy phrase."there's a curve that I don't know" ties in with the "swerve " a few lines down.Not just because of the rhyme;curve and swerve both imply a deviation-going off-course in an unforseen way.

He's using automobile imagery/metaphor again, so changing 'thing' to 'curve' is consistent with that. (It does come down to a burning car, after all...)

"Curve" implies a line and not an area, space or form.
More like a way or a move or a calculable line.
Changes the angle towards the whole rest of the text. And I like it.
Can imagine it a bit like Ribbons and Under the Gun , now.

As far as I remember, it's about certain truths. Didn't agree with all of these truths, to be honest.

And Bowie's Station to Station ... Golden Years, Word on a Wing, TVC15, Stay, and Wild is the Wind ...
